Temitope Ade-Oshifogun, MD

I was born in Nigeria and raised in Matteson, IL, a suburb south of the city of Chicago. I attended high school in Richton Park, IL and received a BS in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I earned my medical degree from The University of Ghana School of Medicine & Dentistry in 2016. While in medical school, I worked in several rural communities as the first point of contact. Doing that work, I found a love for working in rural areas and giving back to the community. After medical school, I worked in the emergency room and tutored students to help them pass their medical licensing exams. My wife and I love traveling, sight-seeing, and hosting events when we can. Coming to New Mexico is a new adventure for us, where we look forward to exploring and making New Mexico our new home.

Sartaj Brar, MD

I am from Fresno, California and went to medical school at American University of Antigua. While in medical school I was fortunate enough to learn medicine at various hospitals throughout the country. I’d have to say practicing medicine in rural New Mexico has been the most interesting aspect of my career. I have diverse professional interests which is one of the reasons I chose family medicine. I enjoy the thrill of acute care in the hospital setting, but also am interested in obstetrics. Outside of medicine I try to spend time outdoors either hiking, traveling, watching sunsets, and playing sports. My goal is to hike every trail in the Organ Mountains by the end of residency.

Eva Campos, DO

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and my family is of Salvadoran descent. I was the first person in my family to attend college and the first to earn a medical degree. I went into family medicine for multiple reasons. My interest initially developed from my experience in health education. I was a public health major which lead me to a job as a health educator in an FQHC. There I realized I really enjoyed one on one interaction with patients and teaching them about their health. During medical school, I realized primary care was the perfect setting to execute my passion. I am honestly undecided regarding my ultimate future goals. However, I do hold serious interests in obstetrics and primary care in the clinic setting. I am passionate about women’s health and hope to find a job where I can contribute to this field. I enjoy a variety of things, mainly outdoor activities. I enjoy playing many sports, however, some of my favorites are soccer and racquetball. I like to go hiking as well. I like to learn random DIY projects. My fiancé and I also enjoy chill activities such as game nights with our friends and regular old Netflix because being a resident can be tiring. I am a cat person, a Bad Bunny fan, and a Batman fan, this probably gives you a good insight into my personality!

I was born and raised in India where I went to medical school at M.S Ramaiah medical college. Family Medicine found me late in my third year of medical school when I thought my career was heading in a different direction. With a passion for preventative medicine and integrative health, I derive great satisfaction from partnering with my patients to achieve their goals.  I am excited to start my journey in Las Cruces. I feel thankful to join the ranks of those invested in the wellness of the Dona Ana community.
